Directions to Redland Middle School:

Redland Middle School is located on Muncaster Mill Road (Route 115) close to Lake Frank and Lake Needwood near Rockville, MD in Montgomery County.

From 495 or Northern Virginia, take 270 North toward Frederick. Take Exit 8 but right before the exit is a smaller exit for Redland Road. Take Redland Road for many miles and turn right on to Muncaster Mill Road (Route 115). You will see a little shopping center on your left. Take Muncaster Mill Road less than a mile and Redland Middle School will be on your left. Turn left at the first entrance to the school parking lot and park in the lot to the left of the school's main entrance.

As an alternative route, from 495 take Route 97 North (Georgia Avenue). Take Georgia for many miles passing Wheaton. You will pass Leisure World (a retirement community with a big globe) on the right. Turn left at Norbeck Road (Route 28). Take the immediate next right on to Muncaster Mill Road (Route 115). Go down Muncaster Mill for several miles. Redland Middle School will be on your right. Turn right into the last entrance to the school parking lot and park in the lot to the left of the school's main entrance.

Directions to Lake Frank Park:

Lake Frank Park is located near Rockville, MD in Montgomery County and is part of the Rock Creek Regional Park. It is also called Lake Bernard Frank and is close to Lake Needwood Park.

From 495 or Northern Virginia, take 270 North toward Frederick. Take Exit 8 but right before the exit is a smaller exit for Redland Road. Take Redland Road for several miles and turn right on to Needwood Road. Take Needwood Road through park land till it ends at Muncaster Mill Road (Route 115). Turn right on Muncaster Mill and go for a short while. Turn left on to Avery Road. Go a couple of miles and the park entrance is on the left.

As an alternative route, from 495 take Route 97 North (Georgia Avenue). Take Georgia for many miles passing Wheaton. You will pass Leisure World (a retirement community with a big globe) on the right. Turn left at Norbeck Road (Route 28). Go down Norbeck a couple of miles and turn right on to Avery Road. You will see a sign for Redland Golf Course. Follow Avery a couple of miles. The park entrance is on the right.
